Saturday, June 7th, Celebrate Barrie.

Fair Trade Barrie participants at the annual Celebrate Barrie on the city’s waterfront. The event was sponsored by Van Houtte coffee and Equifruit bananas. Colouring exercises for the kids. 200 cups of coffee and three cases of bananas were given away.

Saturday May 10th, 2014. International Fair Trade Day at the Barrie City Hall Farmer’s Market. Fair Trade Barrie partnered with Nicholyn Farms and McBride’s Organic Farm to celebrate Fair Trade Fortnight and International Fair Trade Day at the Barrie Farmer’s market at city hall. Lots of free coffee courtesy of Creemore Coffee Co. and bananas courtesy of EquiFruit. The Fair Trade Town flag flew overhead.

Saturday, March 29th, 2014. Ethiopian Dinner. Fair Trade Barrie provided coffee at the annual Ethiopian fund raising dinner. Guests were able to sample a variety of some great Ethiopian dishes.

January 1st, 2014 Mayor’s Levee. Fair Trade Barrie provided coffee for the annual Levee and brunch held by Mayor Jeff Lehman. Fair Trade coffee was donated by Hamley’s Tea & Coffee Co.
